Update

All three tools find the alias the same way. Pass exactly one of alias_id or address. Deleted aliases aren’t found. Each returns the updated alias object. Each call costs credits. If you don’t have enough, the tool changes nothing. See When you run out.

wiseguard_rename_alias

Changes an alias’s label. The address stays the same. Changes data Scope: aliases:write

Input

The alias object, with the new label.

No alias with that ID or address on this account.

wiseguard_pause_alias

Marks an alias as paused in WiseGuard.

Paused and deleted aliases still receive and forward mail today. Pausing or deleting an alias doesn’t block mail yet. A deleted alias keeps forwarding until it’s removed for good, after the 7-day restore window.
